The Opportunity

Evoluxion is building a new line of business: a sector-specific publishing and intelligence platform sitting at the intersection of frontier technology and ecological emergence. Think TechCrunch x CBInsights x Discover/Discovery Channel - structured as a direct-response business, with content and publishing as the front door.

The anchor vertical is rocks-to-rockets, spanning the full civilization infrastructure stack:

Materials & Minerals > Energy & Power Generation > Compute (Data Centers) > AI & Intelligence > Hardware & Robotics > Space

A sister property will cover regenerative sectors: soil, food systems, CPG, natural wellness, land projects, and natural medicine. Progressive frontier tech and eco-sensitive programming will run across both.

The publishing engine starts modest (i.e. an all-star newsletter, and/or exclusive live podcast or webinar series) and expands to an omni-channel presence over time.

Content is curated, created, and co-created - including sponsored content developed collaboratively with clients and partners. This is a collaborative play by design, not a solo publishing operation.

The property is built to serve and showcase the catalytic companies, thought leaders, and emerging sectors driving the future of society and planet - the kinds of players Evoluxion exists to amplify.

Distribution is collaborative by design, layered on Evoluxion's broader hub-and-spoke network. Revenue flows through sponsorships, direct-response backend, and deal-adjacent monetization.

An anchor strategic partner is in place. We are building the team. This is a ground-floor build with a clear near-term revenue path.

What We're Looking For

A senior publishing leader who has done this before. Someone who can own the editorial vision, develop content strategy, and run the operation end to end. Authority and execution in the same person.

This is not a content manager role. It is not a journalist role. It is a publishing leadership role for someone who understands media as a business and has the work to prove it.

This role sits within a collaborative leadership structure. We have a solid initial leadership team in place, and you'll build your own team as the property scales. If you have a trusted collaborator you want to bring in, we may have room - but this is a join-our-team play, not a build-your-own.

Scope of Ownership

Editorial Vision + Content Strategy + IP Development

  • Own the content strategy: define the themes, verticals, formats, and cadence that will build audience and authority in the rocks-to-rockets space.
  • Start with a high-caliber newsletter and/or exclusive live formats, then build the content playbook outward across channels as the property scales.
  • Curate, create, and co-create content - including collaborative and sponsored content developed with clients, partners, and ecosystem allies. This role sits at the center of the collaborative publishing model.
  • Develop and showcase the talent behind the industry - thought leaders, star companies, and emerging voices in the sectors we cover. Over time, this property becomes the platform that creates careers, launches category leaders, and puts the right people on the map.
  • As content themes and verticals sharpen, listen for and develop unique IP concepts. High-caliber production and original concept development is the north star. Think Hollywood caliber meets NYC publishing rigor.
  • Define the editorial identity, voice, and positioning for the rocks-to-rockets property.
  • Build and own the content calendar across newsletter, long-form, and video from the start.
  • Commission, edit, and produce content: in-house, freelance, or contributor network.
  • Develop the intelligence-layer angle: analysis, data synthesis, market perspective with CBInsights-style rigor, not news aggregation. An analyst will be joining the team to support this - you direct it, you don't carry it alone.

Publishing Operations

  • Stand up the newsletter: platform selection, cadence, list-building strategy, growth plan.
  • Build toward premium content tiers and video programming as the property scales.
  • Own the audience development strategy: organic, collaborative, and paid distribution working together.
  • Lead or collaborate on distribution relationships and monetization partnerships - Evoluxion brings serious infrastructure, and this person sits at the center of how it all comes together.
  • Establish workflows, editorial calendar, and contributor systems.

Anchor Strategic Partner + Revenue

  • Work directly with the anchor strategic partner from day one: relationship management and content alignment.
  • Build the sponsorship and advertising framework for the property.
  • Integrate direct-response revenue architecture into content and distribution.
  • Identify and develop deal-adjacent revenue opportunities: intelligence products, events, licensing.

Strategic Leadership

  • Represent the publishing LOB as a founding-level stakeholder.
  • Operate with leadership: bring problems with solutions, not just escalations.
  • Contribute to Evoluxion's broader content and distribution strategy as a senior voice.
  • Build and manage the publishing team as the LOB scales.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years in publishing, media, or entertainment - with P&L or revenue accountability at some stage.
  • Your background sits somewhere in the range of: digital media executive, B2B publisher, Bloomberg- or TechCrunch-style editorial leader, or hybrid digital/entertainment talent. The best version of this person bridges New York media, Silicon Valley distribution, and Hollywood-caliber production thinking.
  • You've built something from scratch or rebuilt something that was broken. You know the difference between an editorial vision and an editorial calendar.
  • B2B, industry media, or documentary/factual entertainment background preferred. You understand how to write and produce for sophisticated, high-value readers and viewers: not just traffic.
  • Comfort in frontier/emerging sectors. You don't have to be a mining geologist or a rocket engineer, but you need to be genuinely curious about the sectors and able to earn credibility with the people in them.
  • Direct-response fluency. You understand that content and revenue are not separate departments, and have an appreciation for the value of good data.
  • You think in terms of high-caliber concepts and execution - not high-volume content grids. You can articulate the difference and build toward the former.
  • Entrepreneurial. You are not waiting for a team, a budget, or a playbook. You build the playbook.
  • You have a genuine orientation toward building for the long-term future of humanity.
  • You're curious about frontier ideas - human-centered AI, sovereignty (data, infrastructure, systems), energy abundance, and the evolution of human potential - and can engage them with both discernment and grounded judgment.
  • You think in systems, not silos, and are motivated by building things that matter at a civilization scale.
